This Project was based in Chatham and with the value of £650k. We worked alongside Guy Holloway architects to provide these purpose built offices.
For this project we used a timber frame to create these beautiful new offices, there was a specially designed meeting room that over hangs the jetty, the large bay windows make an excellent feature due to the picturesque setting of these offices in Chatham docks. Offices are all open plan , with a new kitchen and toilet facilities, externally the build was cladded and we done some external landscaping.
This project was challenged by the Covid 19 pandemic , however we worked hard to bring the programme back on track , eventually only impacting the original works programme by a few weeks.
” Working with BEC on this project has been a pleasure and we have found that BEC were cooperative and helpful during the construction process, with minimal contractual dialogue necessary to get the project completed.
We have had 2 BEC project managers working on the site during the course of the works and both have proved excellent in their coordination of the works and ensuring maintenance of the works programme. The final quality of building work provided was outstanding both inside and outside, with minimal snagging required to finalise the building for handover. I would also like to add that we experienced zero health and safety issues throughout the build and I commend the sire management for this achievement.
I would definitely recommend BEC for future building works of this nature.”
