This project was based in Ramsgate Kent , with the value of £1.3 Million. We worked alongside Duncan and Graham Architect to provide this Traditionally constructed New Build Family centre.
The project consisted of a New Car Park, and a new single storey stand-alone building, constructed from strip foundations, load bearing facing blockwork, and steel frame, pcc ground floor, and a trussed timber roof.
Finishes consisted of an insulated profiled roof, with PV , facing blockwork, with new aluminium doors, and windows, full internal decoration, and externally a new access Road, Car park, and nursery.
Upon completion this project provided nursery/crèche with an indoor classroom and an external learning area, indoor soft play centre and coffee shop, a large multi use hall, offices/ staff room , WC’S and kitchens.
The whole project was designed with the community in mind, so accessibility and safety for all the community was of the upmost importance. Due to the children who would be on site in the nursery and crèche and due to this project being near a main road, we made sure area was made more secure and private by installing fences around the perimeter and landscaping the area so this did not compromise aesthetics of the end result.
