In March 2021 BEC commenced a design and build project in Westgate on Sea, Kent to construct a 13 new build apartment block with the project value of £1.4 Million.
We worked alongside The Duncan and Graham Partnership to formalise a design that met the Clients; Westgate on Sea 1 Ltd requirements.
This was a traditionally constructed project, with steel frame, facing brickwork, aluminium windows, precast floors and tiled & single ply roof finishes. There were 3 storeys, with 5 apartments on the ground and first floor and 3 apartments on the second floor.
Each apartment had 2 bedrooms, one with an en-suite, bathroom and open plan living-kitchen area.
All the flats were completed to the clients high specification, including kitchens from the Symphony Group and a smart heating system.
The communal areas were decorated and fitted out in keeping with the design of the apartments with a passenger lift for the residents and visitors use.
Externally there was secured allocated parking for the apartments, bike shed and bin store along with beautifully soft landscaped areas surrounding the building.
